“The gaze circulates, hesitates, and tries to reconstruct a space that remains deliberately incomplete.”
In Point(s) de vue, the composition fragments space and thwarts the image’s immediate legibility. Inspired by Moroccan mosaic patterns, the work assembles geometric forms and fields of contrasting colour that suggest a floor, a wall or an architectural corner all at once, without ever settling on a single representation.
The partial framing creates a tension between opening and closure: the gaze circulates, hesitates, and tries to reconstruct a space that remains deliberately incomplete. This visual instability places viewers in an active position, inviting them to navigate between abstraction and recognition, between decorative surface and spatial depth.
